Resonant Breathing respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.
Settings Data: The app stores your preferences (breath timing, session length, feedback options, display appearance) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.
Health Data:
Your heart rate data is only used during active breathing sessions to synchronize breath pacing. This data is never stored, transmitted, or shared by this app.
If you enable "Record to Health," the app saves mindful session summaries (duration, workout type) to your Health app. This data remains in your Health app and is governed by Apple's privacy policies.
Apple Watch automatically records heart rate data independently during workouts. See Apple's website for more information about how Apple Watch handles health data.
No Internet Transmission: This app does not transmit any data over the internet. All functionality is local to your device.
Diagnostic Data (Future): Currently, the app does not collect diagnostic or analytics data. Should this change in the future, any diagnostic data collection will be strictly opt-in, and this privacy policy will be updated to reflect what data is collected and how it's used.
This app does not share any data with third parties. Your settings and health data remain exclusively on your device.
You can:
Delete the app at any time to remove all locally stored settings
Revoke Health app permissions through your device's Settings app
Control what health data is saved by toggling "Record to Health" in the app settings
If this privacy policy is updated (for example, to reflect the addition of opt-in diagnostic data collection), the "Last Updated" date will be changed and users will be notified through an app update.
