Annual Events

NMR week

ResoN8 NMR group (Facility Managers/leads in the northern 8 universities NMR facilities) organise and deliver an annual 'NMR week' in Biological NMR spectroscopy, primarily aimed at postgraduate students, post docs and Early career researchers from labs across the UK. The program covers the theory of NMR, in-depth analysis of the most widely used experiments, and introductions to some new topics in the area. The format is a 2-day course hosted in a Northern-8 University followed by 2-day workshops at the participants' own Facility, working through a program of practical exercises, relevant to their own research. The week is rounded off by a video conference where the participants from each institution present a new topic that they have researched in groups.
