Overview
ResoClear ("we", "us", "our", or "ResoClear") provides an iOS application that offers sonic cleaning and on‑device audio tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access or collect, how we use and store that information, your choices, and how to contact us. We aim to keep data collection minimal and to process audio and media features on the device whenever practical.
Scope
This Policy applies to personal information collected through the ResoClear mobile application distributed via Apple’s App Store and to related customer service communications. It does not govern third‑party websites or services linked from the App.
What information we collect
A. No personal accounts: ResoClear does not require you to create an account to use core features.
B. On‑device content: Audio generation, frequency presets, waveform visualization, and playback operate locally on your device. We do not upload your audio output, screenshots, or device media to our servers for these features.
C. Device and diagnostics (optional): With your consent, ResoClear may collect non‑identifying diagnostic data to improve app stability and performance. This may include:
App version, iOS version, device model, and basic usage metrics (which features were used and how often).
Crash reports and error logs (may include memory and stack traces).
D. Local data stored on device: The app stores user-created presets, settings, and local usage preferences in your device’s local storage (Core Data). This data remains on your device unless you export or delete it.
E. No advertising identifiers for targeted ads: We do not use IDFA or similar identifiers to build user profiles or serve targeted advertising.
Permissions
ResoClear may request the following permissions:
Audio playback: permission to play audio output through the device speakers. This does not require cloud access.
Haptics: permission to deliver haptic feedback while using the app.
The app does not require access to your microphone, camera, contacts, or photo library for core sonic cleaning functionality. If future releases request additional permissions, they will be disclosed in the App Store listing and in‑app prompts.
How we use information
We use the minimal information described above to:
Provide and improve the App features.
Diagnose and fix technical issues.
Maintain user preferences and saved presets locally.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Third‑party services and libraries
ResoClear may use third‑party SDKs or open source libraries for analytics, crash reporting, or system integration. Where such libraries transmit diagnostic information, we choose reputable providers and limit data to non‑identifying metadata whenever possible. For details, see the App Store listing and any “About” screens in the app.
Data retention and deletion
Local data: User presets and settings are retained on your device until you delete the app or manually remove them.
Diagnostics: If you opt into diagnostic sharing, such reports are retained only as long as needed to troubleshoot and improve the app, then deleted or aggregated.
To request deletion of any data we hold on servers (if applicable), contact resoclear@outlook.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and comply with applicable laws.
International transfers and users outside the U.S.
ResoClear is developed and operated from the United States. If diagnostic or support data is transmitted to a service provider located outside your country, we will protect that data in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws.
Children
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal data through ResoClear, contact us and we will take steps to remove the information.
Your rights and choices
Opt‑out of diagnostics: You can disable diagnostic data sharing in the app settings (or during the initial prompt).
Delete local data: Delete the app or remove presets/settings inside the app to erase local data.
Access and rectify: If we hold any personal data about you on our servers, you may request access or correction by emailing resoclear@outlook.com.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data we control. However, no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data on your device or data transmitted to third‑party SDKs you enable.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When material changes occur, we will post a revised date and make a reasonable effort to notify users via the App Store listing or in‑app notices. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
