Acknowledgements

We would like to the following groups for help with setting up RESIST.

We would like to thank CMMID for financial support and CMMID members for helpful input in the design of the workshop.

The cmmid represents researchers from all three LSHTM departments who are involved in the development and application of mathematical models to interpret infectious disease data, to understand the natural history of infections and to predict the impact of control strategies at the population level such as vaccination, treatment and case-finding. Researchers are applying these models to a range of infections including HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, Ebola, pneumococci, tuberculosis, hepatitis C, pandemic and seasonal influenza, malaria, sleeping sickness and vaccine preventable diseases, such as rotavirus, varicella and measles.

We would like to thank the AMR Centre at LSHTM for financial support.
