By using ElectroScan, you agree to the following:

1. AI Limitations

ElectroScan uses Google® to analyze resistor images and estimate values. AI is not perfect and can make errors due to factors such as image quality, lighting, angles, or component variations. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Use the results as a reference, or manually match the image, and not as the sole basis for critical decisions.

2. User Responsibility

You are responsible for manually verifying any readings (e.g., with a multimeter). ElectroScan is not responsible for damage, loss, or failure of electronic developments caused by inaccurate readings.

3. Data Use

By using the scan service you agree data may be briefly handled on-device during processing-see Privacy Policy for full rights.

5. Educational Purpose

ElectroScan is designed for educational and reference purposes only. It is intended to help users learn about resistor color codes and value estimation. The app is specifically optimized for discrete resistors with three color bands plus a tolerance band. It is not intended for professional, industrial, or safety-critical use.

6. AI Service Limitations and No Refund Policy

By submitting data for analysis via artificial intelligence, the user acknowledges and agrees that this data travels over the Internet, and as such, connectivity issues, interruptions, or failures may occur on the user's side or upstream servers when using the API. Additionally, there may be congestion on the artificial intelligence servers that could affect the availability and performance of the service. For this reason, the platform is not responsible for refunding the credits (scans) used in the application in the event of faults, interruptions, or congestion that affect the provision of the service. Unused scans are non-refundable. All sales are final.

7. Prohibited Activities

Prohibited: No resale, copying, screenshots, or reverse engineering of the app for any purpose. All intellectual property remains ours.

8. The app's AI analysis now includes microchips, capacitors, relays, transistors, diodes, and other electronic components. Please note that these components vary significantly in form factor and markings; therefore, the limitations regarding accuracy, lighting, and manual verification described in Sections 1 and 2 apply equally to all supported components.

9. Geographic and Trade Restrictions: The availability and performance of our AI services depend on third-party providers. The app may fail to function, provide limited results, or be entirely inaccessible if accessed from countries subject to international trade sanctions or commercial blocks. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by these regional regulatory restrictions.
