About Counselor 

My name is Amber Watson and I live in western North Carolina and love that I get to call this region home.

I received my Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. I completed my clinical training at Meridian Behavioral Health and most recently served at a local agency supporting individuals survivors of traumatic life events as well as individuals with a variety of mental health challenges and concerns.  Prior to this, I had the privilege of serving in various helping roles.  My counseling approach is centered around respect and empathy , while helping you feel empowered in your identity. 

I am licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina, my license number is #A16803 . My clinical supervisor is Beth Starling, & her license number is LCMHC#591 .
