Hi, I’m Jane and and this is why I started Resilient Kids.
It all came from frustration.
I kept seeing kids being pushed, labelled, and squeezed into boxes they just didn’t fit into. So many were losing confidence, shutting down, or feeling like they weren’t “enough” just because they didn’t fit a narrow version of success.
I wanted to create a space where children could just be.
Be curious. Be quiet. Be creative. Be themselves.
I’ve been a teacher since 1997, working across a range of schools - state, private, and international and I’ve seen first-hand how easily children’s individuality can be overlooked. I'm also a mum to two young adults, now 20 and 18, so this comes from both professional and lived experience. I understand how important it is to nurture a child’s confidence and emotional wellbeing, especially when they don’t always fit the mould.
Everything I do is shaped around your child’s unique needs. It’s about helping them feel capable, confident, and proud of who they are not who they’re told to be.
At the heart of it all are three simple values:
‣ VISION – creating possibilities and supporting their unique potential
‣ VITALITY – helping them feel good in themselves, inside and out
‣ VOICE – making sure they feel seen, heard, and valued
If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
