Some feedback and ideas for what's possible for Resilient Kids one to one and group sessions:
"Both of my children love Jane's sessions and get a lot out of them. She is kind, patient and great at adapting sessions to their needs even when they are different each time!" Anna
"Jane delivered a fantastic mindfulness session for our Cubs pack in Merrow. She skillfully captured the attention of 25 lively children, guiding them through a meditation and breathing exercise that left us all impressed. Her natural rapport with kids is truly special, and as leader volunteers, we were in awe of her ability to create a calm and focused environment. With her engaging approach and a variety of thoughtfully chosen props, Jane provided each child with a memorable experience of mindfulness they can carry forward. Thank you, Jane!" Julie George
"If you have kiddos in your life, whether family or friend. I can highly recommend Jane Tyson's Resilient Kids. Thanks Jane for the pleasure of hosting your sessions as part of our Dulux Wellfest events today" Debi
"I had a lovely, relaxing afternoon at Rosamund Community Garden in Guildford with Jane. It's a very relaxing environment and it was lovely to spend time with my family joining in a range of nature based activities together. There was lots to see and learn about. We're all looking forward to the next session!
"Jane creates a safe, calming space for children to express themselves. Over the course of the sessions I've attended, self-consciousness melts away and you'll see that there's nothing like the joy of a child who's done something they didn't think they could do." Jen Gale
"Jane is a superb tutor, incredibly patient, motivational and creative. I would highly recommend her for children and adults. She is very reliable, human, loving and assertive at the same time. Our 7-year-old daughter now has a proper routine towards homework and understands how important 15 minutes daily independent learning can be." Adriana Rodriguez
"Thank you Resilient Kids for an inspired and refreshing experience! I often talk about "resiliency" with adults but we have yet to translate that conversation into the language of our small human. He had a great time and we look forward to learning with you again soon." Dee
A mum asked her daughter in her words she liked Resilient Kids' sessions and she said “I like them, I like the feeling I can just be myself and Jane gives me lots of encouragement.”
“I really appreciate Jane's mentoring style and her approach to thinking about life. She's insightful and reflective and humorous with it, and her ideas and ways of thinking help me see things from a different perspective. I would highly recommend working with Jane if you would like some fresh ideas and to work with a creative, fun and vibrant person to help you grow in whatever path you are focusing on." Natalie - Chief of Staff/Business Manager, Microsoft
"I am continually surprised by Jane's vigour, creative thinking and desire to get things done. She has a clear message to help and improve the understanding of children and the difficulties associated with parenting and the lot of people trying to make successes of themselves. She achieves remarkable results and is extremely well liked by the community she attends and the one she creates. She is intelligent, open and welcoming and cares. Always willing to help, learn and share and she is a lot of fun too." Arthur Partridge (AyPee) Personal/Business Trainer/Coach Master NLP Practitioner/Trainer Social Media Specialist/ RIP
“I had not realised that truly effective teachers and knowledge guides concern themselves with developing rapport first. Once your student understands that the 'relationship' is on a level footing, not the hierarchy so abused in 'education' they 'feel' different. They feel better and can direct their brains resources to any learning they want rather than being constantly berated. When speaking and interacting with Jane over several different contexts it became obvious to me that she creates this rapport as a top priority. This then is why kids #LOVE her and from there it is easy to understand why the results they produce are in line with the innate excellence of ALL children. Always growing, always trying and an excellent mind with great humour and humility I spent 12 years in the primary education sector and Jane is un-matched in that experience. She facilitates results that no 'normal' teacher can because her love has not been squashed by the education 'system'. All parents that understand that Command & Control, the system in all our education, can & MUST be better should reach out and connect with Jane.” Jonathan MacDonald Chief Executive Officer at Potency.World - #NeuroDivergent, Co-Founder SocialMeToo, Marketing - STP, London Rep of MWS. "Absolutely fabulous teacher for my home-educated daughter. Jane provides us with a mixed curriculum to meet all of her educational needs, and tailors each lesson to suit my daughter's learning style and pace, including allowing freedom to choose subjects and preferred learning approach. She's also able to provide us lessons in the evening, which works best for our daily schedules and my daughter's preferred learning time. It took us a while to find a tutor that my daughter enjoyed learning from, and in her words "I like her because she's not boring". Would recommend to anyone! Jenny Newland
“I don't think you realise the impact you had on our son's future after we met you! Such an amazing teacher and person.” Carol Evans (taught and tutored in 1998)
"Jane is very engaging, and looks to really get to know each child, in order to formulate a bespoke plan. She uses new and innovative ideas on how to facilitate the learning of each child." Richard
"Jane, you bring a reality that folk really relate to. This includes the ability to make mistakes, to not mind, and to find ways to recover from mistakes." Peter Jones, Dad of 2
"At a time, early in the pandemic, whilst living thousands of miles from home, I was looking for support to help navigate a close, younger family members struggle with an eating disorder. I drew great strength from plugging into Jane's Resilient Kids’ sessions, not only for Jane's evident knowledge of how to approach such spaces for encouraging resilience in our young people, but also very much for the peer format, where others facing similar challenges could share their experiences, fears and wisdom on the matter. I'm very grateful to Jane for offering such welcoming, inclusive, supportive, meaningful spaces with Resilent Kids, alongside her other initiatives which give people a space and a voice to be heard." Mike, dad of two
"Jane is a thoroughly positive burst of energy! She helped me to prioritise and stop getting caught up in the details. I had become overwhelmed as a single working parent but Jane made me feel good about myself and put everything in perspective. Her fresh pair of eyes helped me organise in a straightforward way, with realistic expectations that made managing everything easier. Most importantly she made the whole experience fun. She has a ‘can do’ non judgemental attitude that will really lift your spirit." Sally, mum of 3
‘I would definitely recommend and tell friends about Resilient Kids purely because anything that can encourage and empower our children to be the best they can be and be happy and confident with who they are is a win for me as a mum." Lizzy - Mum of two wonderful girls aged 10 and 5.
