How do I Recover My Venmo Account | Reset Password
Security can be compromised if you forget your Venmo password. Venmo allows you to change your password in the ‘My Profile’ section of Settings. Or you can reset Reset Venmo Password by following these steps:
Venmo Password Reset Process
Click on the ‘Forgot your password?’ Option.
Enter the phone number or email address associated with your account
You will receive a password reset link by email or phone number.
Click the link and create a new password. The new password must be strong and unique. Must be at least 8 characters.
If you didn’t receive the code
If you don’t receive the password reset link, please wait a few minutes. Delivery may be delayed. Click on the ‘Resend Code’ option and wait. If you still don’t get your password after trying many times, there may be a problem. Make sure the Junk / Spam folder is not hidden.
Try logging in from another device you used to log in to your account previously.
Code is not working
If you use the code too long, it may not work. It is only valid for a limited time. If the code has expired, you can request a new one.
Code moves to another phone number
If the number associated with Venmo is someone else’s code, we will receive the code, but will not be able to access your account. You can update the number before requesting the code then only you can Reset Venmo Password
Log in to your account using the device you previously used to access Venmo. You can skip the secure code process. If you change your phone number, you will also need to reset your password.
Use your new phone number
If you try to log in to your account using your new device, the code will be sent to the phone number registered with Venmo, so you may not receive the code. If you cannot enter the code correctly, you will be asked for an identity.
On your computer, go to the Venmo website. Enter your email address, username and password. Instead of an email address, you can enter your existing phone number.
Ask the screen to send the code to your old phone number. You can choose one of two options.

Click the link that says ‘I can’t access this phone’. You can find it in the ‘Send code’ button. Alternative options for identification are provided.
2. If you cannot find the link
If you can’t find a link that says you can’t access your phone, there may be no way to verify your identity.
