Reset Roomba i7
Reset Roomba i7
There are two ways to reset Roomba i7, one is a hard reset and the second is way is a soft reset. Let’s look at hard reset first. For both types of reset processes please ensure your Roomba i7 is connected to the network and is powered up.
For SOFT RESET PROCESS, press and hold the clean button of your Roomba for about twenty seconds. There is a ring light on top of the Roomba, it will spin or swirl for in color white. After that, wait for a minute or two because it will take that much of time to restart the Roomba i7 back again.
For HARD RESET PROCESS, you need to open the iRobot app on your phone. Over there go to your Roomba i7 vacuum and remove it from the app. Once you remove it then the Roomba will reset itself.
Once the Roomba is reset on its default factory settings, then you need to re-configure the Roomba again to your home network. We understand the fact that there must be reasons why you did reset the Roomba but do take backup, beforehand.
When you do take the backup, it saves the schedule and the home map for further. We do hope you might find them useful later, if not now. Backups just make the further process of reconfiguration easy.
The resetting process of iRobot Roomba vacuums is not always the same. There are times when different models are to be restored to default by different methods. So, if you own a Roomba i3, then click here to see its reset process.
