Submission
In the submission form, among the 'Category', choose Workshop: Reservoir Computing
General Information
The papers accepted to the 2nd International Workshop on Reservoir Computing (RC 2024) will be published together with the ICANN 2024 proceedings in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
Submission of contributed papers follows the same rules as for the main ICANN 2024 conference:
The RC 2024 Workshop will be an in-person conference. We expect that at least one co-author of each paper will be physically present in Lugano to give his or her presentation. We will also enforce a no-show rule, in order to encourage an optimal quality of the scientific discussion here in Lugano
All scientific communications will be reviewed and scientifically evaluated by a panel of experts. The conference will feature two categories of communications:
oral communications (15′ presentation + 5′ questions)
poster communications
Papers will undergo rigorous peer review; the Program Committee will make the final decision which papers will be included in the conference program. For papers with conflicting reviews, or which are on the borderline between acceptance and rejection, a short rebuttal phase is foreseen.
Authors willing to present original contributions in either oral or poster category may submit:
A short paper (6-11 pages) or a long paper (12-15 pages) to be published in Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series with individual DOI as part of the conference proceedings.
An extended abstract of up to 5 pages (including references) that may be published in the conference proceedings, but without indexing.
The review process of the ICANN 2024 is double-blind. This means that the identity of the reviewers is unknown, but also that the reviewers will not see the list of authors of the paper. Follow the istructions on the main Conference website: https://e-nns.org/icann2024/submission/
Templates for manuscripts preparation
All author information is found on https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines. As a first step, obtain the paper template:
The paper template is found at LaTeX2e Proceedings Templates download.
The template is also available on Overleaf.
Under the link above, you will also find a link to the paper template in Microsoft Word. Please do not use the Word template unless absolutely necessary, as it will make your paper come out in a somewhat different style.
For a detailed style guide, consider Instructions for Proceedings Authors.
