The Practical Robotics and AI Lab is currently recruiting two PhD students to join our team.
Basic Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in C++, Python, Linux/ROS, and experience with PLCs
Demonstrated ability to develop testable and reliable software/hardware systems
Strong debugging skills with a track record of solving complex problems
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Participation in college-level or national-level robotics or electronics competitions
Publications in robotics venues such as IROS, ICRA, or RA-L
