Welcome to the Research in Irish Lifelong Guidance group (RiLG) website. 

What is the Research in Irish Lifelong Guidance group? 

RiLG was established in 2022 by career development practitioners, guidance counsellors and academics working across the lifespan. We aim to contribute to the exploration and advancement of research in lifelong guidance in Ireland, from early childhood, primary, post-primary, further education and higher education, as well as wider career development sectors.

The group is made up of the following members:

Dr. Eimear McDonnell, Guidance Counsellor and IGC researcher

Dr. Liam Harkin, Guidance Counsellor in private practice
