The venue for the conference is the Aston Webb Building (map link). Please come to the Great Hall for registration; coffee will be available on arrival from 8.30am. The main conference programme will start promptly at 10am.

The University is served by its own train station (University Station)
Our map from 2024 shows the latest time you could depart by train to get to the University Station for a 10am start. However, to ensure you have plenty of time to register and have a coffee, if possible, please plan to arrive early!
How to get to the University of Birmingham
By rail: Regular trains run from Birmingham New Street Station to University Station, which is a five minute walk from the venue. Either take West Midlands Trains services to Bromsgrove/ Redditch/ Hereford or CrossCountry services to Cardiff. Check live departure times.
By bus: The most convenient stop in Birmingham city centre is NS3 on Smallbrook Queensway (map). You can view live departure times here. Either take X20/X21/X22 and disembark at University North Gate on Pritchatts Rd (map), or take 61/63 and disembark at University South Gate at BristolRd/Bournbrook Rd (map).
By car: The University has ‘Pay and Display’ visitor car parking at the North East Car Park - access is via Pritchatts Road. The sat nav postcode is B15 2SA.
