The EnviroTrade sensor unit is designed for speedy deployment with minimal additional infrastructure investment. Compared to a traditional monitoring system, the system has the characteristics of low-cost, simple installation and easy information access with integrated air quality sensors for PM2.5, PM2.5, CO2, NO2, PM10, VOCs O3 (ozone),, as well as temperature and humidity etc . The design will enable more sensors to be deployed for more accurate data. The hardware system will be built on the combined advantages provided by three networks: Internet of Things (IoT), Internet and mobile networks, facilitating cost effective, fast and reliable data communication. It adopts advanced technology in wireless sensor system, intelligent multi-sensor fusion, cloud and distributed computing for big data processing.
