Lebanon is suffering from a severe and deepening socio-economic crisis, which has been exacerbated in the last year by the COVID pandemic. The country is suffering from a significant proportion of its population below the poverty line, rising inflation, a collapsing currency, high unemployment rates, power shortages, limited access to education, and a refugee crisis caused by the instability in the surrounding region. The socio-economic situation has created the perfect storm for the neglect and abuse of animals.
We will continue our our mission, if you’ll continue to help us.
Rescue is at the heart of what we do. There is no greater feeling than taking a dog or a cat from a life of constant fear, loneliness and pain, and watching them flourish in a safe and loving forever home.
We partner with shelters, rescuers, foster carers and vets on the ground to coordinate the rescue, rehoming and transportation.
We rely entirely on donations in order to fund the important work we do for these voiceless souls.
We are proud to donate towards urgent cases that desperately need funds to provide life saving veterinary care and boarding to rehome these rescue cases. From dogs with half of their faces shot off, to puppies who have had their eyes cut out, from abused cats to dumped kittens, we have donated towards it all.
Through the work we do rescuing and rehoming abandoned and abused dogs in need, we aim to open peoples’ eyes to the importance of rescue, and how rewarding it is to give a pet in need a loving and safe forever home.
