Formatio exists to empower the new generation of entrepreneurs and small businesses by making a professional online presence accessible to all. Founded as a subsidiary of Redefining Entrepreneurs in STEM (RES), our commercial mission is to provide high-quality, affordable website templates and hosting.
This mission is directly fueled by a personal purpose: the revenue generated allows the founders to support their families, contribute to their education, and reinvest in the STEM community. Therefore, every website we help launch not only grows a small business but also fuels personal and community growth, creating a cycle of opportunity where success for our clients means progress for our founders.

Barton Li, a Pine Creek High School student, is the founder of Redefining Entrepreneurs in STEM (RES). With a background in his family's business, China Menu, he is leveraging his entrepreneurial experience to pursue his passion for data-driven strategy, with plans to major in Management Science & Engineering and Data Science.

Tom Huang is a University of Michigan Sustainable Design student and co-founder of Formatio. Driven by his own experiences, he is dedicated to using design and technology to create equitable solutions, ensuring every small business has access to the tools they need to succeed.
