History

Malenkia's founding date is considered the 8th of September 2022, because that is when Malenkia's name was made and when it got its flag. 

Malenkia's Independence Day is considered the 10th of January 2023, for reasons not even the Malenkian president knows. A few days after that, the president joined a website called Scratch and made a lot of stuff for Malenkia there- he's gotten so used to it that he still uses it for designing flags and vehicles. A few days after the president joined Scratch, Malenkia adopted the Calepantakian System of Government- where 2 presidents are in power. The other Malenkian president, Kayhan Kieshiev (not his real name,) claimed a school for Malenkia, which would cause all sorts of problems. There would be 2 so-called "civil wars," probably caused by Kayhan introducing Malenkia to people a bit too much. Meanwhile, the 2 presidents are both on the website called Scratch, and they are designing stuff and interacting with other micronations, in a community called the United Micronations of Scratch. This community is now, in Romak's opinion, not a very good community, which is one reason Malenkia left it in late 2024. But that doesn't happen quite yet. After Romak and Kayhan's 2022-2023 school year, Kayhan would move to Pennsylvania. The 2 presidents would stay in contact for a short time before Kayhan somehow lost contact. He would be left to do stuff for Malenkia in Pennsylvania that he couldn't talk to Romak about. Because of this, Kayhan did some things that later Romak would not approve of. Meanwhile, back online, Romak left Scratch in June. He would return later in August when the events that caused him to leave had settled down. This period of Malenkian history from February to June is a very vague time for Malenkia, because most stuff was occurring online. Malenkia doesn't do anything big in this time period. 

Malenkia makes no major advances or has any events in the period of Romak's time away from the UMNS (United Micronations of Scratch). When he returns, he is much humbler than his previous immature self. He vows to forget the previous time, which is another reason that time period is very vague. He also only usually draws Malenkian stuff- fictional maps, military assets, and flags. Malenkia has yet again another period of not much real-life advances. But after a while, the UMNS started creeping back. He did some stuff for it, but largely did his own thing. Later in this time period, Romak regained contact with Kayhan. Kayhan explained that Malenkia had claimed the entire state of New York and some other things. Romak, who was just planning to un-claim the school that he went to, didn't like this very much, and advised Kayhan to keep land that only people approved of him claiming. Finally, Romak suggested that Kayhan create his own micronation separate from Malenkia so they can each do their own thing. And that's when Kayhan disappeared- again. Romak still isn't sure if Kayhan made his own micronation or not. Malenkia still has a Calepantakian government system, despite it technically having one president. The system hasn't been removed, because Romak doesn't know whether to remove it or not. Later, Romak signed a treaty with the secretary of his school, formally removing Malenkia's claim on the school that Kayhan made over a year ago. The next day, the Treaty of Hekanel-Stel was signed.

The Treaty of Hekanel-Stel gave Malenkia its first real land. It is Romak's Grandmother's property. Romak's Grandmother agreed to it and signed it. The land was perfect for a micronation- a 16-acre area filled with scrap metal, trees, trails, and a pond. Some days later, Aventika Muede Afenalk (AMA) (Federal Malenkian News), was established. So far, as of 31st of January 2025, it has produced 2 papers and some stuff on this website. Meanwhile, Romak was not really liking the UMNS. Around this same time, Romak was considering leaving the UMNS, so, on the 23rd of January 2024, Romak and Malenkia left the UMNS. Meanwhile, Malenkia was on a roll. It got a physical flag on December 12 and has been flown many times. 

December 2024 was the most prosperous month for Malenkia by far. After leaving the UMNS, Romak made many things for Malenkia in real life. He got Malenkia a commander of the navy, and a commander of the air force. He got a drone and made it a part of the Malenkian air force. He also made a currency. Currently, Romak is attempting to remove most traces of Malenkia stuff that was affiliated with the UMNS. Malenkia now has more recognition in real life since the days when Malenkia claimed the school.
