Animals Helped:49
Welcome to Reptopia Reptile & Amphibian Rescue! We are a group of volunteers based in southern Connecticut who has set out to help the many animals in need. The founders of Reptopia worked for a local reptile rescue and nonprofit where they got lots of experience in rehabilitation and saw first hand the importance of exotic animal rescues. Realizing that there are no rescues dedicated to reptiles and amphibians in southern Connecticut, we have decided to start Reptopia Reptile & Amphibian Rescue based out of West Haven, CT. Our current goals are to become a licensed 501(c)3 nonprofit with the state of Connecticut, help as many captive reptiles and amphibians as possible and eventually get a facility/building for our rescue. We make sure all animals in our care are provided with medical care and proper husbandry. ALL animals are quarantined for at least two weeks upon intake prior to being adopted out.
