Representation Theory in Cologne

A two-day workshop is planned at the University of Cologne in honor of the life work of Peter Littelmann in occasion of his retirement. During the workshop there will be talks by the invited speakers as well as contributed talks. 

Schedule. We plan to start on Friday morning with talks, concluding in the afternoon with a Colloquium talk by Catharina Stroppel. Afterwards there will be a reception at the institute followed by dinner at a local restaurant (Brauhaus). On Saturday we will have talks starting in the morning through until the afternoon. A precise schedule will be available once the contributed talks have been selected. 

Funding. There is funding to cover the accommodation costs of participants as well as some travel expenses within Europe for young participants. 

Registration. To register, please send an email to: reptheoryincologne@gmail.com. If you would like to give a talk, please mention this in your registration e-mail and send a title and abstract. The registration deadline is October 30th 2023. 

Accommodation. We have a hotel (https://hotelastor.de) for the participants, we have reserved 25 rooms from Thursday to Saturday (you can also stay only one night if you arrive on Friday). If you wish to book one of the rooms, please write an email to mail@hotelastor.de mentioning “Peter’s Farewell” (the room will be 120€ per night with breakfast).
