Reflection Halloween Festival Culture
The cultural observation I did for my experience was the Festival of Halloween. What I find interesting about this
educational festival event, the students were able to bring their best customs ever. The best about this student where
challenged who wear the best custom it was fun. In my experience, it is important to be open and have fun to be able to
engage more students to involved in this Event. A few students were in line for face painting, Halloween hopping, and
music ghost chair, it was all creative teaching children responsible and respecting other classmates while having fun.
However, for few students did not bring customs to school because their families do not celebrate Halloween day.
Although parents don't like Halloween, I saw how the parents participate to bring their children along to this event
happening in their children's school, a lot of fun with other individuals from different grade levels. It melts my heart to see
little and their family enjoying and loving creating bats. With the help of the family donations, there was a lot of yummy
food, for example, Mexican food, tacos, torta, hot dogs, corn, chicken, candy, activities, etc.
I was able to notice that there was a lot of help needed when creating a cultural event for the student, it's important for
parents to get involved and incorporate the value of diverse groups' activities. It was very exciting and helped teachers
interact with family and students, a form to get them to know them better. As teachers, exciting dessert is at the Fall
Festival, you can see the engagement of laughter, smiles, and love.
Although what impressed me the most about school culture activities, their culture predisposes them to learn in certain
ways. Observing the teacher how she provided practice knowledge and strategies, to students and the parents to come
together and celebrate. The people's use of materials and techniques helps through this event. Information was open to
parents to have an opportunity to increase the student’s verbal interaction in the classroom. With a lot of great opportunities
for learning and fun activities, students were able to attempt to interact with other groups' challenges. Even the best feeling is when the parent communicates with the teachers and staff to help assist an event successfully, so the child can receive the
opportunities to help influence them in their educational success.
What worries me the most is the fear that I may not have enough knowledge to provide all students with equal teaching
strategies. My performance can be shy at the time, and my language starts to scramble around. My language will not come
out as planned or be good enough to understand. I was able to understand that each of us individually acquired our first
language. My home language is Spanish although my parent gave birth in the U.S.A. English process during the time of my
school year was just too difficult for me. However, today in school volunteers, staff, and tutors, the process or also known as
ELL (English Languages Learners) could ask for more help through my academic success.

Reflection: Final Day
Some of the various ways in which the teacher monitors student learning during instruction are class list log, checklist/
rating scale, running records, Frequency counts, conversation and interview, work samples, media. Mrs. Zakka mentions
"It's always best to have a notebook and pen on a daily basis.". She sure always made notes of anything and everything that
happen in her classroom. The most important notes about the children, she made sure to write every detail and would place
them in a safe folder for each child’s "Portfolio Overview Sheet". The notes always can help the teacher to go back and over
the review later with a teacher and ask how each and every child is doing. It warms my heart to see and hear teachers, staff,
and parents have strong communication to help children and children with disability reach successful educational skill set
capacity. Various ways in which the teacher incorporates assessments and instruction use formative assessments, determine
support levels, engage students in the process, and utilize and integrate technology. Turning data into action, and
standardized test scores. Thank you for inviting me out to go look for this experiment out in the field it sure was nice, and
sharing my experience with another teacher was awesome, it sure was helpful. It warms my heart to hear there are teachers
that teach different types of learning, needs, and specialized areas and teach different subject opposites. Some various ways
in which instructional time is used effectively and ineffective, people move through different stages of cognitive,
psychosocial, and moral development throughout their lives. All participants assume responsibility for meeting students’
needs. It was very inspiring to me how one of the student teachers try to meet the student each year, or as much she could,
to help and make sure the student’s needs have been met. The social environment of the classroom felt so nice and friendly.
The teacher and students are huggee, nice, loving, friendly, smart, caring, etc. I have also learned in the classroom that
learning disabilities are the most common disability among students. I think it’s a nice school and nicely experienced as a
caregiver, model, and mentor first, it brings tears to me, based on the fact this fall has come to an end.
