Yes, registration is free and required to attend (please register here). Registration for in-person attendance is now closed. Online registration remains open. Walk-ins will be available.
All registered attendees will receive a Microsoft Teams link for all sessions except for the Demos & Posters session.
Each paper presenter has 15 minutes to present, followed by a group Q&A. Within the Lightning Talks session, presenters have up to five minutes to present, followed by a group Q&A section. Online presentations are prerecorded with the presenters online to take questions. The Poster & Demo session is in person only.
Due to the technical nature of the hybrid format, presenters of Panel, Paper, and Lightning Talks are required to use the PC installed in the auditorium.
Across the three days, a modest morning and afternoon tea will be served. Lunch is not provided.
There are many lunch options available on campus (https://www.rmit.edu.au/about/our-locations-and-facilities/facilities/food-retailers). The Oxford Scholar Hotel (next door to Building 80) offers weekly specials serving food and drink all day. Alternatively, the City Campus is surrounded by eateries, including food courts in Melbourne Central and QV Melbourne.
Wi-Fi access will be provided via the RMIT-Guest network. An Event Code will be supplied to all registered attendees.
Please select RMIT-Guest from your Wi-Fi settings
Once this network is selected, you will be directed to a web page, where you will choose ‘Event’
Guests then enter the Event Code provided, then select ‘Next’
The guest completes their details (name, email address and contact number), accepts the Terms of Use and selects ‘Register’
They will then be presented with a receipt, with a username and password (which they should make a record of) and select ‘Log in’.
Guest registration is valid until the end of the event, and they should not need to re-register again. If the guest is using more than one device, they will need to register for each device.
