Reception

Participants are invited to join us at the Replaying Japan 2023 Reception. 

Time: Saturday August 19th, 18:00

Location: GARB Castello

Price: ¥6,000, food and drinks included. Vegetarian food will be available.

The reception fee is payable in advance at the conference registration desk.

会費はカンファレンス受付にて前払いでお願いします。

Map / Access

Nagoya Zokei University is only accessible by public transit. There is no parking space available on-campus. The campus is located right above the Meijo Koen subway station (Meijo Line). Exit 2 is closest to the registration desk, but use exit 1 if you need to use the elevator.

名古屋造形大学へのアクセスは公共交通をご利用ください。キャンパス内の駐車場はありません。大学は地下鉄名城線名城公園駅の真上に位置しています。ご来場の際、2番出口からお越しください。（エレベータをご使用の方は1番出口をご利用ください。）

Lunch

No lunch will be provided, but lunch breaks are long enough for you to visit restaurants in the neighbourhood. There are tables on campus for those who wish to bring food but be warned that there are no garbage bins on campus. 

昼食はありませんが、昼の休憩に近所の飲食店を訪れる時間が十分にあります。お食事を持ち込みたい方はご利用になられるテーブルがありますが、キャンパスにゴミ箱がありません。ご了承ください。

Here are some of the places where you can find food near the university.

大学付近で食事できる場所は以下にご紹介します。

tonarino

Tonarino is located right across the street from campus, at the entrance of Meijo Park. Here you will find the following restaurants. Note that the reception will be held here, at GARB Castello.

tonarinoは大学のすぐ隣で名城公園入り口にあります。以下のレストランがご利用できます。（GARB Castelloはレセプション会場になっています。）

• Dean & Deluca (Quiche, Lasagna, Sandwiches -- ¥1,400 to ¥1,600)

• GARB Castello (Italian / Western -- ¥1,100 to ¥2,400)

North of Campus / キャンパス北

• Family Mart (Convenience Store)

• KFC

• Chitaka (Tonkatsu -- ¥970 to ¥1,580)

Yanagihara Dori / 柳原通商店街

Approximately 300m east of the campus is a local shopping street. Many stores are unfortunately closed, but here you can find some very good-valued meals. Note that most of these places do not have English menus.

キャンパスから西へ300m行くと、柳原通商店街があります。閉まっている店が多いですが、お値打ちのランチを提供する飲食店もあります。

• キッチンまぜこぞ [Kitchen Maze-Koze] (Hamburg steaks / Japanese home cooking -- ¥900)

• 椛 [Momiji] (Izakaya -- ¥500 to ¥800 - Very cheap but tiny restaurant!)

• men.LEON (Ramen -- ¥780 to ¥1,180)

• namihei (Onigiri rice balls -- ¥200 to ¥580 per item)

• 花くるま [Hana Kuruma] (Izakaya / Seafood -- ¥800 to ¥1,100, large portions and very good value, but the handwritten menu might be hard to read!) (Closed on Saturday and Sunday.)

Kinshachi Yokocho Muneharu Zone / 金シャチ横丁宗春ゾーン

This is a touristic area near the entrance to Nagoya Castle, approximately 750m south of the campus. Here you will find several restaurants.

大学から750m南へ、名古屋城の入り口付近にある観光客向けエリアです。

Kurokawa / 黒川

One subway station away, or a 1.5km walk north of the campus. There are several restaurants in this area.

名城公園駅から一駅、または北へ徒歩1.5キロには複数の飲食店があります。

Hisaya Odori / Sakae / 久屋大通、栄

Only two or three stations away from Nagoya Zokei University on the Meijo line, you can easily reach Nagoya's central district where you will find countless restaurants.

名古屋の中心街である栄・久屋大通エリアは名古屋造形大学から地下鉄名城線を乗ると簡単にアクセスできます。
