HOW TO REPLACE A CANON TS3122 INK CARTRIDGE?

Precautions With Canon TS3122 Ink Cartridge

It is necessary to replace the cartridge immediately after removing the empty cartridge. You cannot leave the printer without it for more than 10 minutes.
Also, after removing the packaging of the cartridge, install it immediately. If you fail to do so, its ink will dry out. This may damage the printer.
Be sure to install all Canon ink cartridges to ensure proper functioning of your printer.
Make sure you never install a used cartridge as this can clog the nozzles. As such, it will fail to alert you about its ink change.
Never touch the cartridge’s electrical contacts or the printhead nozzle.

Replace a Canon TS3122 Ink Cartridge

To get started, turn on your printer to replace the Canon TS3122 ink cartridge.
Locate the printer’s paper output tray and its extension. take them back.
Open the printer cover. This will cause its Printhead Holder to move. Therefore, wait for its replacement to rest in position. Here, it is important to make sure that you do not impede the movement. Also, never force it.
Also, make sure not to leave it open for more than 10 minutes. If this happens, the cartridge holder will move to the far left. As a result, an error will occur. In that case, simply take the cover off and open it again.
Now, gently push down the Canon TS3122 Ink Cartridge. Press it until you hear the clicking sound twice.
Next, carefully detach the ink cartridge. Then, discard it properly in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Next, bring out a new Canon TS3122 ink cartridge. Carefully remove it from its packaging.
Get rid of its protective tapes properly. Be careful with this to avoid ink stains or spills. Never move the cartridge.
Here, it is important to immediately discard the removed protective tapes with extreme caution. Also make sure you don’t reapply the tape after you’ve removed it.
Your printer needs both a color and a black cartridge. So, you have to install them both properly. Be sure to install the color cartridge in the left slot. Similarly, the Black One needs to be installed in the right slot.
Now insert the cartridge into the cartridge holder at a slant. Also, make sure it doesn’t hit the electrical contacts of the holder. You will need to push the Canon TS3122 Ink Cartridge in and up. Be sure to do this firmly but carefully. You will hear a clicking sound when it fits into its correct position.
After that, close the paper output cover properly.

Prepare The Printer After The Installation

Once you have properly replaced the Canon TS3122 ink cartridge, prepare the printer for its proper functioning.
The printer will automatically start cleaning its printhead. it will take time. However, make sure that you do not perform other operations during this process.
Also, if the printhead is not aligned, you will need to align it.
While performing these procedures, your printer will make noise which is normal.
