Summary: REPet does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.
1. Who We Are
REPet is developed by Resonancia Éter, an independent app studio. This policy applies to the REPet iOS application ("the App").
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
REPet does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Personal identification (name, email, phone number)
- Account or login information (the App has no accounts)
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Device fingerprints
- Crash reports sent to our servers
- Any data to third-party services (except Apple WeatherKit and Apple StoreKit as described below)
3. Device Permissions
The App requests the following permissions, all of which are processed entirely on your device:
Microphone
Purpose: Bark detection — the App listens for your dog's barking to automatically activate calming sounds.
Data sent to servers? No. Audio is analyzed in real-time on your device and immediately discarded. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Photo Library
Purpose: Adding a photo to your pet's profile.
Data sent to servers? No. Photos are stored locally on your device only.
Location (When In Use)
Purpose: Storm alerts — detecting nearby storms to notify you to protect your dog.
Data sent to servers? Your approximate location is sent to Apple's WeatherKit service to retrieve weather forecasts. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). Resonancia Éter does not receive, store, or have access to your location data.
All permissions are optional. The App functions without any of them — you simply won't have access to bark detection, pet profile photos, or storm alerts.
4. Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device:
- Pet profiles (name, breed, age, size, behavioral issues you enter)
- Pet photos (stored in the App's private sandbox)
- Hearing test results
- Favorite presets and custom mixer presets
- App preferences (theme, timer settings, night mode configuration)
- Bark detection event counts (daily counters only, no audio)
- Storm alert preferences (enabled/disabled)
- Premium purchase status (whether the user has unlocked Premium)
This data is deleted when you uninstall the App.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses only the following external services, both provided by Apple:
Apple WeatherKit — Used exclusively for storm detection when you enable storm alerts. Your approximate location is sent to Apple's servers to retrieve weather forecasts. Apple processes this data according to their privacy policy. Resonancia Éter does not receive any data from this interaction.
Apple StoreKit — Used to process the optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks REPet Premium features, and to restore previous purchases. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple. Resonancia Éter receives no payment information, no Apple ID, and no personal data from this process. We only receive a confirmation that the purchase was completed, which is stored locally on the device. Apple's handling of this data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
The App contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics frameworks, no social media trackers, and no third-party code that collects user data.
6. In-App Purchases
REPet offers an optional one-time non-consumable in-app purchase ("REPet Premium") that unlocks additional presets and premium features.
- The purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.
- Resonancia Éter does not have access to your payment method, billing details, or Apple ID.
- The only information stored locally on your device is whether the Premium product has been purchased.
- You can restore your purchase at any time using the "Restore Purchases" button, which queries Apple's servers through StoreKit.
- No subscription is involved. The purchase is a single payment that grants permanent access on all devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
7. Children's Privacy
REPet does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children. The App does not require an account, does not connect to the internet (except for WeatherKit and StoreKit as described above), and stores all data locally on the device.
8. Data Sharing
We do not share any data with anyone because we do not have access to any of your data. There is nothing to share.
9. Data Retention
All App data is stored locally on your device. We retain no data on any server. When you delete the App, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.
10. Your Rights
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. You have full control over all data stored by the App on your device through iOS Settings or by uninstalling the App.
11. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version at this URL with the updated date. Significant changes will be communicated through an App update.
