Mozilla Thunderbird is a mail client that uses the same code base as Mozilla Firefox. Just like Firefox, Thunderbird can suffer profile locks that block you from accessing the service. The error message reads: "Thunderbird is already running, but not responding. To open a new window you must close the existing Thunderbird process, or restart your system." You will need to remove the profile lock by deleting all Mozilla processes from your Windows taskbar.
To make Mozilla Thunderbird file junk mail to a separate folder automatically do the following:
1.Firstly select Tools and then Account Settings from the menu.
2.Move to the Junk Settings category beneath the desired account.
3.Select Move new junk messages to:

5.Finally click OK.
To have Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape or Mozilla move spam to the Junk folder automatically do the following:
1.Select Tools and then Junk Mail Controls from the menu.
2.Check that you have enabled the spam filter for your account.
3.Now selectMove incoming messages determined to be junk mail to:
4.Mention the folder where Netscape or Mozilla should move spam.
5.Finally Click OK.
