Reo Nathan was the youngest of 13 children. When he was born his parents didn't have a name picked out so they decided to name him after a popular car brand at that time, REO. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he began working at an appliance and furniture store until 1956, when he purchased the business and renamed it Reo's Appliance Center. After working with him for nearly two decades, his oldest son Brad took over the business in 1988 and his other son Craig joined the team in 2006. Many of Reo’s grandsons have worked at the store throughout the years and Reo can still be seen helping customers on a regular basis.
