· Foley Catheter Management in the Nursing Home
o Learners will be able to identify the importance of foley catheter management in the nursing home as well as documentation requirements.
o Learners will be able to define an obstructive uropathy and identify opportunities for foley catheter removal in nursing home patients.
· UTI Management in the Elderly
o Learners will be able to differentiate a urinary tract infection from other abnormalities in the urine such as asymptomatic bacteriuria.
o Learners will be able to discuss management options for elderly patients with recurrent urinary tract infections.
· PALTC Diabetes Management
o Learners will be able to identify goals for diabetes management for complex elderly nursing home patients.
o Learners will be able to identify optimal diabetes treatment options for nursing home patients based on their comorbidities.
· Psychotropic Medications Update
o Learners will be able to identify the expectations by state and regulatory agencies for prescribing and documenting psychotropic medications in the nursing home.
o Learners will be able to identify standard recommendations for gradual dose reductions of psychotropic medications.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EARNING CME AND ABIM MOC CREDIT
To receive CME credit and ABIM MOC credit, participants must:
Register for the activity.

Complete the pre-test.
View the educational content.
Complete the post-test and achieve a minimum passing score of 70%.
Complete and submit the activity evaluation, including questions regarding intended practice changes and quality improvement opportunities.
Claim credit and obtain a certificate or transcript no later than July 1, 2029.
Successfully complete all required components of the activity.
Upon successful completion of all requirements, participant completion data will be reported through ACCME PARS for the purpose of awarding ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit.
Estimated Time to Complete Activity: Each module is between 26 minutes and 60 minutes in length.
