   Privacy Policy

  At RENTALPd, accessible from https://rentalpd.online, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document describes the types of information we collect and record, and how we use it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

  RENTALPd is a professional fleet and rental management tool intended for business use by car rental agencies and their staff.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

  1.   A. Account Information                                                                                                                                                                                                  

  When you register for an account, we collect your Email Address and Full Name. This information is used exclusively for secure authentication and to synchronize your professional data across your mobile and desktop  

  devices.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

  B. Business Operational Data                                                                                                                                                                                            

  The application allows you to manage vehicle fleets, client details, rental contracts, and financial records (including expenses, cheques, credits, and invoices). This data is stored:                                 

  - Locally: In a secure database on your device.                                                                                                                                                                         

  - Cloud: Synchronized with Google Firebase (our service provider) to ensure data safety and multi-device access.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

  C. Media and Files                                                                                                                                                                                                      

  If you choose to use the camera or gallery features, the app may store:                                                                                                                                                 

  - Car photos, agency logos, and stamps — used to populate contracts and vehicle records.                                                                                                                                

  - Client identity documents (e.g. national ID, driver's license) — used exclusively to verify client identity for rental contracts.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

  Client identity documents are treated as sensitive personal information. They are stored in your private cloud storage, are never used for advertising, are never sold, and are never shared with any third party other 

  than the infrastructure provider (Firebase) described in Section 7.                                                                                                                                                     

  D. Permissions We Request                                                                                                                                                                                               

  - Camera: to photograph vehicles and client identity documents.                                                                                                                                                         

  - Notifications: to send you critical system alerts (maintenance due dates, contract returns, etc.).                                                                                                                    

  - Storage: to save local backups and exported files (e.g. contracts, invoices) on your device.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

  We do not request access to your contacts, precise location, or call/SMS logs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

  2. How We Use Your Information                                                                                                                                                                                          

  - To provide, operate, and maintain our fleet management platform.                                                                                                                                                      

  - To improve and personalize your user experience.                                                                                                                                                                      

  - To understand and analyze how you use our application.                                                                                                                                                                

  - To send you critical system alerts (Maintenance, Returns, etc.).                                                                                                                                                      

  - To prevent fraud and unauthorized access. 

  3. Data Sharing                                                                                                                                                                                                         

  We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

  Data is shared only with Google Firebase, which acts as our backend infrastructure provider (authentication, database, and storage), strictly to operate the app's core functionality. Firebase's own privacy practices 

  are governed by the Google Privacy Policy (see Section 7).                                                                                                                                                              

  4. Data Security and Retention                                                                                                                                                                                          

  - Encryption: All data transferred between the app and the cloud is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.                                                                                              

  - Access Control: Your data is private and only accessible via your authenticated login.                                                                                                                                

  - Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide you the service.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

  5. Account and Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)                                                                                                                                                                   

  You have full control over your data. At any time, from within the app, you can:                                                                                                                                        

  6. Wipe Data: Permanently

 delete all business records (cars, clients, contracts, expenses, cheques, accident claims, maintenance records, credits and invoices) from both your device and the cloud, while keeping your 

  account and agency profile.                                                                                                                                                                                             

  7. Delete Account: Permanently

 delete your login account and all associated data. This option is available in the "Danger Zone" section of the Application Settings, and requires password confirmation before          

  proceeding.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

  Once you confirm account deletion:                                                                                                                                                                                      

  - Your account and all associated business data are immediately and permanently erased from our local database and from Firebase.                                                                                       

  - This action cannot be undone and the data cannot be recovered.                                                                                                                                                        

  - No copy of your personal data is retained by us afterward, except where retention is strictly required by applicable law (e.g. financial/tax record-keeping obligations), in which case only the minimum necessary    

  information is kept for the minimum required period.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

  6. Responsibility for Client Data                                                                                                                                                                                       

  RENTALPd is used by rental agencies to manage their own clients' information (names, phone numbers, identity documents, financial records). If you are an agency using this app, you are responsible for:               

  - Obtaining any necessary consent from your clients before entering their personal data into the app.                                                                                                                   

  - Ensuring your use of the app complies with the data protection laws applicable to your business and your clients.                      

7. Third-Party Services                                                                                                                                                                                                 

  We use Google Firebase for authentication, database, and storage services. Their privacy practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy                                       

  8. Children's Privacy                                                                                                                                                                                                   

  RENTALPd is a business tool intended for adult professionals operating car rental agencies. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13.             

  9. Changes to This Policy                                                                                                                                                                                               

  We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page along with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
