RENT AI ("the app") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Your portfolio - properties, units, tenants, leases, payments, expenses, documents, and related notes - is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that collects or stores this data, and we do not require an account to use the app.
AI FEATURES
Some features use artificial intelligence. When you choose to use them - for example, scanning a lease, scanning a receipt, triaging a maintenance issue, or drafting a message - only the specific content you submit for that request is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the result. This content is used to return your result and is not used to train AI models. We do not send your data for AI processing unless you initiate an AI action.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you.
CAMERA AND PHOTOS
With your permission, the app uses your camera and photo library only to scan and attach leases, receipts, and images you choose. These stay on your device unless you submit them for an AI action.
PAYMENTS
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Because your data lives on your device, you control it. You can delete individual records, export a backup, or erase all data from within the app. Deleting the app removes its on-device data.
CHILDREN
RENT AI is intended for adults managing rental property and is not directed at children under 13.
CHANGES
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
