This Privacy Policy explains how Rent Guard Dubai handles information when you use the app. The app is designed as a private, local-first tenancy organization tool for contracts, evidence, reminders, letters, and case file PDFs.
1. Information You Enter in the App
Rent Guard Dubai may allow you to enter or store information such as:
- Tenancy contract details
- Property or area names
- Annual rent values
- Contract start and end dates
- Notice dates
- Evidence document titles
- Photos or files you choose to add
- Notes
- Generated letters
- PDF case file exports
This information is used only to provide the app’s features, such as tenancy dashboards, evidence organization, reminders, rent increase checks, notice checks, professional letters, and PDF exports.
2. Local Storage
Rent Guard Dubai is designed to store your tenancy information locally on your device.
We do not operate a user account system for this app, and we do not upload your tenancy records, documents, photos, notes, or generated PDF files to our own servers.
Your data may be included in your device backup or iCloud backup depending on your Apple device settings. You are responsible for managing your device backup settings.
3. Documents, Photos, and Files
If you choose to add photos or documents to the app, they are used only for organizing your tenancy evidence inside the app.
The app may request access to selected photos, files, or document picker features only when you choose to add evidence.
We do not access your full photo library unless you grant permission through iOS, and we do not use your documents for advertising or tracking.
4. Notifications
The app may ask permission to send local notifications for renewal reminders, notice deadlines, and tenancy-related reminders.
Notification data is processed locally on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in your iOS settings.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
Rent Guard Dubai offers optional Pro features through Apple In-App Purchases.
Payments, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
The app may receive StoreKit purchase information from Apple to determine whether Pro features should be unlocked.
6. Data We Do Not Collect
Rent Guard Dubai does not:
- Sell your personal data
- Track you across apps or websites
- Use your tenancy records for advertising
- Upload your private tenancy documents to our servers
- Scrape or collect information from DLD, RERA, or government websites
- Claim affiliation with DLD, RERA, or any government authority
7. Analytics and Diagnostics
The current version of the app is designed to function without collecting personal analytics from your tenancy records.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store analytics, crash reports, or purchase reports through Apple developer tools. These reports are provided by Apple and do not include your private tenancy documents.
8. Sharing and Exporting
If you export a PDF, share a letter, or share a document from the app, you control where that information is sent.
Once you share information outside the app, it may be handled by the receiving app, service, or person according to their own privacy practices.

Rent Guard Dubai is an educational organization tool. It is not legal advice and does not replace consultation with a qualified legal professional.
Rent Guard Dubai is not affiliated with Dubai Land Department, RERA, or any government authority.
10. Children’s Privacy
Rent Guard Dubai is not designed for children. The app is intended for adults who manage tenancy records, contracts, or rental-related information.
11. Data Security
We use the security protections provided by iOS and your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure, including using a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and secure backups.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
