Short biography

René is a data scientist, affiliated since 2019 with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as a doctoral candidate. In the meantime, he is a full-time researcher at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), in Munich, Germany.

He currently investigates problems related to Automated Machine Learning (AutoML).

Previously, René graduated with a Master's Degree in Data Science from Sorbonne Université in 2018. Then, he was employed as a research software engineer in Robot Learning at Institut Polytechnique de Paris. There, he was a member of Flowers, a joint research team between ENSTA ParisTech and INRIA.

Besides, René is also a member of the CLAIRE Rising Researcher Network and the research network on COnfiguration and SElection of ALgorithms (COSEAL).
