Statement:
René Serrano’s Paintings explores the relationship between geometric forms and organic elements to render sites or fragments of an imagined society—be it utopian or rural, deserted or bustling— according to each viewer’s own gaze.
In this cartography of the fictive, ritual chants echo along every path, guided by the remnants of musical scores inscribed in a secret, healing calligraphy.
