T H E H A L L
This space, familiar at first glance, subsequently reveals itself to be a combination of elements stemming at times from the real, and at times from the virtual. It generates an ambiguous feeling of déjà vu, blurring the perception of the usually distinct boundary that separates what is from what could be.
Cet espace, familier au premier regard, se révèle, dans un second temps, être la conjugaison d'éléments issus tantôt du réel, tantôt du virtuel. Il génère un sentiment équivoque de déjà vu brouillant la perception de la frontière, habituellement lisible, qui sépare ce qui est de ce qui pourrait être.
Deze ruimte, die op het eerste gezicht vertrouwd oogt, blijkt in tweede instantie een samensmelting te zijn van elementen die deels uit de realiteit en deels uit de virtuele wereld afkomstig zijn. Ze wekt een dubbelzinnig gevoel van déjà vu op dat de perceptie vertroebelt van de gewoonlijk duidelijke grens tussen wat is en wat zou kunnen zijn.
