Welcome to Rendox (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Rendox mobile application. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
To provide AI-powered image and video generation services, we collect the following types of information:
- User-Submitted Content: When you use our AI generation features (including Text-to-Video and Image-to-Video), we collect the text prompts, images, videos, and other media you voluntarily submit. This content is used solely to generate the AI assets you request.
- Account Identifiers (Guest ID & Email): We generate a temporary Guest ID to enable a registration-free experience. When you bind your account using an email address or complete a purchase, we collect your email address to associate your purchased Credits and generated assets with your account.
- Technical and Usage Data: To maintain the security, stability, and performance of the Service, we collect technical information such as device manufacturer, device model, operating system version, IP address, browser type, app version, and diagnostic information.
- Analytics and Attribution Data: We work with analytics and attribution providers, including AppsFlyer and Firebase, to understand app performance and measure marketing effectiveness. These providers may process advertising identifiers (such as GAID on Android or IDFA on iOS), device information, and app usage events.
- Payment Information: All payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers (such as Google Play Billing or Stripe). We do not collect or store your complete payment card information.
- Log and Diagnostic Data: We automatically collect crash reports, error logs, request timestamps, and diagnostic information to improve the reliability and security of the Service.
- Local Storage: The Service may use local storage or similar technologies to maintain your Guest ID, authentication status, and user preferences.
2. Facial Processing and Visual Features
Some AI generation features may process images containing human faces.
- Non-Identity Visual Processing: When you upload media containing faces, our AI models temporarily process facial visual features solely to generate the artistic or cinematic effects you request. We do not perform facial recognition, identity verification, biometric authentication, or identify individual persons.
- Transient In-Memory Processing: Facial visual features are processed strictly in volatile memory (RAM) during the rendering process and are permanently purged immediately upon task completion. We do not retain facial templates, build biometric profiles, or store facial data on persistent storage.
3. How We Use Your Information & AI Training Policy
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To process your AI image and video generation requests.
- To manage your account, Credits, and generated assets.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To improve service reliability, security, and system performance.
- To detect abuse, fraud, or unauthorized activities.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
AI Model Training Policy
We do NOT use your uploaded content, generated outputs, or facial visual features to train, retrain, fine-tune, or improve our proprietary AI models or any third-party AI models. Your submitted content is used solely to execute the specific generation tasks you request.
4. Storage and Sharing of Information
Data Retention
- Generated Content: Your generated images and videos are retained on our servers for as long as your account remains active to allow you to access and download your generation history, or until you manually delete them or request account deletion.
- Account Information: Your email address and associated account information are retained until you request account deletion or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Third-Party Service Providers
To deliver the Service, your content may be processed by trusted cloud infrastructure and GPU computing providers. These providers process information strictly on our behalf and under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. All data transmissions between the Rendox app and our servers are encrypted using standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols.
6. User Rights and Data Control
- Access and Export: You may access and download your generated content directly within the app.
- Account and Data Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at rendox67@outlook.com. Following a verified deletion request, your account data and stored media will be permanently purged from our servers within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law.
- Reset Guest Identity: You may reset your local Guest ID by clearing the application's local cache or reinstalling the app.
7. Regional Privacy Disclosures (GDPR & CCPA)
EEA and UK Residents (GDPR Compliance)
Rendox acts as the data controller for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy.
- Legal Basis: We process personal data based on:
- Performance of a Contract: To deliver requested AI generation services;
- Consent: Where explicitly provided (e.g., media uploads, marketing analytics);
- Legitimate Interests: To maintain system security, detect fraud, and improve service performance.
- Your Rights: Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, port, restrict processing of, or erase your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time or lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA Compliance)
We collect Identifiers (such as email address, Guest ID, IP address), Internet activity, and customer-submitted media/prompts.
- Sale & Sharing Disclosures: We do not "sell" personal information for monetary value. However, disclosures to third-party analytics and attribution partners (e.g., AppsFlyer) may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You may opt out of cross-context tracking by adjusting your device privacy settings (e.g., enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will promptly delete such data and terminate the account.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where our servers or cloud service providers operate. Where required by law, we implement standard contractual clauses and appropriate safeguards to protect international data transfers.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or other prominent notices before they become effective.
