RockYou, a California based company, made it possible to authenticate on facebook applications without having to re-enter passwords. In December 2009, it was hacked.

The database containing the unencrypted names and passwords of its 32 million customers was stolen and then made public.

An analysis of the passwords showed that two thirds of the passwords were less than 6 characters long, and that the most commonly used password was 123456.

This list of passwords, sorted by frequency is frequently used in CTF.

On Kali, the file, zipped, is stored in: /usr/share/wordlists/rockyou.zip

In the terminal, to get into good habits, the file can be found at: /usr/share/wordlists/rockyou.txt

This term refers to a method of hacking Facebook accounts by using Google search to find files that contain passwords on various websites. In this article, we will explain what is index of password txt facebook, how it works, and how to protect your Facebook account from this attack. What is index of password txt facebook?Index of password txt facebook is a technique that uses Google's advanced search operators to find files that contain passwords on different servers. These files are usually called "auth_user_file.txt" or "passwords.txt" and they store the login credentials of users who have registered on a website. Hackers can use these files to access the accounts of those users, including their Facebook accounts if they use the same password for multiple sites. How does index of password txt facebook work?To perform index of password txt facebook, hackers use Google search syntax to crawl the web for files that contain passwords. For example, they can use the following queries:"Login: *" "password =*" filetype: xls (searching data command to the system files that are stored in Microsoft Excel) allinurl: auth_user_file.txt (to find files auth_user_file.txt containing password on server) intitle:"index of" passwords.txt (to find files named passwords.txt in the title of web pages) These queries will return a list of websites that have files with passwords on their servers. Hackers can then download these files and try to use the passwords to log into various accounts, including Facebook accounts. How to protect your Facebook account from index of password txt facebook? The best way to protect your Facebook account from index of password txt facebook is to use a strong and unique password for your account. A strong password should be at least 8 characters long and include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
