I was born in 1984 in the French town of Poilly-lez-Gien. In 2009, I received a Mathematical Engineering degree from CUST and a Ms.Sc. in Operations Research From Université Blaise Pascal, both in Clermont-Ferrand, France. During my undergrad, I spent twice six month in Santiago de Chile as a research assistant at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, working on Open Pit Mining Scheduling problems with Marcos Goycoolea, Eduardo Moreno and Daniel Espinoza.
I spent five years in Santiago working as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Fernando Ordóñez and Daniel Espinoza, on Routing problems, Risk-averse Optimization, and Stochastic Integer Programming problems. Since 2012, the Santiago's Fire Department has been using the dispatching system we designed during my graduate studies. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research in 2015 from the department of Industrial Engineering of the Universidad de Chile.
Between 2015 and 2017, I have been a Visiting Professor in the department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences of the University of Colorado - Denver; between 2017 and 2019, I have been a Postdoctoral Fellow in HEC Montréal and Pratt & Whitney Canada; and since October 2019, I am a Visiting Professor in the Computer Science Department of the ULB in Brussels.
Since September 2021, I am a French Maître de Conférences at the ISIMA-LIMOS in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
