BACKGROUND

Renato Gumacal started farming more than 25 years ago in purok 6, Sta. Isabel Sta. Josefa Agusan del sur as a tenant. When he first came in the area, it is more like swamp/marsh than a farmland. To make the land ideal for farming he build canals to drain the water below the surface built by layers of dead plants/trees, he also dedicates his life developing the area almost every day for the last 25 years. Little by little this hardship reaped and made the land as what it is today. After decades, with the help of his sons and sisters he finally able to purchase the land that he develops and started raising Ducks and Red tilapia and this is where Renato’s Integrated Farm started.

MISSION

To develop an ideal and modern farm that is based on new practices, methodologies and strategies in farming. A farm that always adopt technologies and apply scientific procedures in producing healthy food and products for the community.

VISION

To become an agricultural center for integrated farming in Agusan Del Sur, a bridge from traditional to a modern and sustainable practices, a way to inspire new generation of farmers.

KABATAAN AGRIBIZ PROVINCIAL WINNER

SEPTEMBER 2021

Kabataan Agribiz Competitive Grant is a financial grant assistance program for the young farmers. Among 150 young farmers, Renato's Integrated Farm is one of 75 provincial winners of Region 13 CARAGA.

AGRIBUSINESS PITCH CHAMPION

MAY 2021

Renato's Integrated Farm aced the Agribusiness Pitch Challenge with it's business proposal entitled Pulang Hari - Red Tilapia Nursery and Grow Out. Agribusiness Pitch Challenge is one of the competitions during the 1st Youth in Agriculture Summit conducted by Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Credit Policy Council (DA-ACPC).

Buyers from Neighboring town enjoyed the sense of adventure in visiting the farm. They purchase 14000pcs, 2000pcs and 2500pcs Red tilapia Fingerlings. 18500 in total.
