"The Black Link of Independent Schools Summit (BLISS) is an initiative to create solidarity, connection, conversation, and friendship between Black students in the New England area.
During membership with BLISS, participants would have gained a better understanding of how their schools compare to others in regard to supporting black students, and how they can improve their own diversity initiatives at their respective schools."
BLISS has also created a Resource Kit to learn about some valuable resources to address many of the issues the Black community faces today.
Started by four college students passionate about government and civics.
“When we graduated from high school, we realized we didn’t know much beyond the basics of how our government works. How does a VP get nominated? What are each of the constitutional amendments actually saying, and how are they applied today?
We believe that with the upcoming presidential election, the new generation of voters needs a strong understanding of our government, now more than ever.”
