This is a bibliography about Leonardo da Vinci which was published in 1931 and republished to this web site. This is a very in depth view of the works that leonardo da vinci did as an artist, inventor, and scientist. The reason I chose this book is because it was originally publised inn Bologna which is very close to the home town of Leonardo da Vinci and is originally written in italian.
Leonardo da Vinci was a man of many talents and as such he created much more than just art. In this video some of the most popular inventions from him are covered. That is the reason I chose this video. He was also a good man and was worried of his inventions being obtained by the wrong hands. He is quoted saying "How by means of a certain machine many people may stay some time under water. How and why I do not describe my method of remaining under water, or how long I can stay without eating; and I do not publish nor divulge these by reason of the evil nature of men who would use them as means of destruction at the bottom of the sea, by sending ships to the bottom, and sinking them together with the men in them. And although I will impart others, there is no danger in them; because the mouth of the tube, by which you breathe, is above the water supported on bags of corks."

One of his most popular works is the play Romeo and Juliet. This play is romantic and tragic. The link I have provided is the original script of the play split into acts. The reason I have chosen this website is because it uses the original English from the renaissance era and allows the reader to see how different the languages are and were of that time. It also gives a modern translation as well which allows for comparison to occur.
