‘Beyond 9 To 5’ is a nutrient-enhanced water with the full daily value recommendation of Vitamin D. The target demographic are night shift workers, since they are more at risk for Vitamin D deficiency than those who work the typical 9 am to 5 pm shift. The design features a night aesthetic rather than a sunny one since that is the environment shift workers would be surrounded by and most familiar with. The mostly cool color palette, neon details, space imagery, and faint city skyline in the background evokes the calm beauty of the nightlife. The brand name is perfectly sized so that all of it will be visible at once when on a bottle while also maintaining legibility. The subtexts provide the basic information for the product without being overwhelming. The right side is kept black and white to ensure the information is legible to anyone, so to unify the whole piece a light blue border lines the top and bottom of the label.
This project’s goal was to design a theatre poster for a non-contemporary production. The title and tagline were both enhanced using Bevel & Emboss, with adjustments made to create a golden appearance for the former and a blood-like effect for the latter. The design uses a triadic color scheme of red, yellow, and blue. Yellow highlights Oedipus's crown and the title, juxtaposed with the deep red blood and a foreboding tagline, while shades of blue-grey envelop the chorus and background. Due to Oedipus's pivotal role as both king and the central figure of the play's tragedy, he is enlarged and depicted at the forefront of the poster. Similarly, the chorus is intentionally obscured within Oedipus's shadow, with only their observing faces being visibly distinct.
For this project, we had to redesign a cover page for an already existing magazine or create one of our own. I decided to do a Jacobean-era parody of "TIME" magazine.

Design Prompt:
You have been hired to create directional signs for a children’s school K-5. Due to the diverse range in students ages, abilities, and backgrounds you have been asked to keep the words to a minimum of 1-2.
They are asking for a child centered them that is eye catching and “not just some plain old arrows that point in one direction”.
The school has a limited budget so your color range should be 1-3 colors.
If you use any words they would prefer a serif font having done their research they know these are better for print & 3-D items.
They are initially asking for 10 arrows that will be narrowed down by the committee to 5 for you to create comprehensive sketches of for them.
