As nations around the world intensify their efforts to achieve healthy aging—one of the most pressing challenges of an aging society—leading faculty at KAIST in aging and regenerative medicine, together with top researchers across Korea, have come together to establish the Regenerative Medical Research Institute for Aging-related Diseases (reMRI).

The reMRI will recruit and support outstanding postdoctoral researchers to tackle a major scientific challenge that is difficult to address through conventional research paradigms: the development of regenerative technologies that control the aging environment. Through this initiative, we aim to nurture these researchers into future leaders who will help position Korea at the forefront of global regenerative medicine.
