ConnectTV Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the TV Remote - Remote for Roku TV mobile application (“App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the App.
By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the App.
To discover and communicate with compatible Roku TVs and Roku streaming devices, the App may access information available on your local Wi-Fi network, including:
Local IP addresses
Roku device name and model
Roku device identifier
Device connection status
Installed Roku channels or applications
Supported remote-control capabilities
Network response and connection information
This information is used to identify compatible devices, establish a connection, display available controls, launch installed channels, and send commands requested by you.
Communication between your phone and Roku device generally takes place over your local network. We do not use this information to access files, messages, contacts, or other unrelated content stored on your device.
The App processes commands you select, such as:
Directional navigation
Home and back commands
Play, pause, rewind, and fast-forward
Power, volume, and mute
Input selection
Channel or application launching
These commands are sent to the selected Roku device to provide the requested remote-control functionality.
When you use the keyboard feature, text entered in the App may be transmitted over your local network to the connected Roku device.
We do not intentionally store or collect the text you enter through the remote keyboard. You should avoid entering passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information into unsupported or untrusted screens.
When you use voice-search functionality, the App may request access to your device’s microphone.
Microphone access is activated only after you choose to use a voice feature. Audio may be processed by your device’s operating system or a third-party speech-recognition provider to convert your speech into text.
We do not intentionally record or store your voice audio. The processing practices of the speech-recognition provider are governed by that provider’s privacy policy.
The App may store certain information locally on your device, such as:
Previously connected Roku devices
Selected remote layout
App settings
Theme preferences
Tutorial or onboarding status
Subscription or premium status
Connection preferences
This information is used to remember your settings and improve your experience. Local information can generally be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.
Depending on the App version and services enabled, we or our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, including:

Operating system and version
App version
Device or advertising identifiers
IP address
General region inferred from IP address
App interactions and feature usage
Session duration
Advertising interactions

We do not use analytics services to intentionally collect the text entered through the remote keyboard or the content displayed on your Roku device.
The App may offer premium features, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases.
Payments are processed by Google Play or another authorized application marketplace. We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information.
We may receive transaction-related information, such as:

Subscription status

This information is used to verify purchases, provide premium features, prevent fraud, and manage subscriptions.
Subscription management, cancellation, and refund availability are governed by the applicable marketplace’s policies.

We retain information under our control only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the App from fraud or misuse.
The App does not require users to create a ConnectTV Studio account.
To remove locally stored App information, you may:
Clear the App’s storage through Android settings
Reset the App’s settings where available
Uninstall the App
Information processed by Google Play, advertising providers, analytics providers, or other third parties must be managed through the privacy tools offered by those providers.
You may contact us at admin@pixelz-lab.com with a privacy or deletion request relating to information under our control. We may need to verify the request before taking action.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no network, device, application, transmission method, or electronic storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users should maintain a secure Wi-Fi network, use strong router security settings, keep their devices updated, and avoid connecting to untrusted networks.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of connected devices, streaming services, and applications.
Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for information transferred internationally.

The App may allow users to launch channels, applications, or streaming services installed on a compatible Roku device.
We do not operate, control, or provide the content offered by those services. Use of third-party channels, subscriptions, websites, and services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
The App does not provide television channels, movies, television series, or other copyrighted streaming content.
TV Remote - Remote for Roku TV is an independent third-party remote-control application.
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or officially associated with Roku, Inc.
Roku and all related names, product names, trademarks, logos, and brands are the property of Roku, Inc. References to Roku are used solely to describe compatibility and the intended functionality of the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When changes are made, the updated version will be published with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after an update means that you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy.
