ConnectTV Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the Remote for LG TV Smart Control mobile application (“App”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the App, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The App does not require you to create an account or directly provide personal information such as your name, home address, phone number, or contacts.
However, certain information may be collected automatically when you use the App.
1.1 TV and Local Network Information
To discover and connect to compatible smart TVs, the App may access information available through your local Wi-Fi network, including:
• TV name and model
• TV IP address
• Device connection status
• Pairing information
• Local network status
• Previously connected TVs
This information is used only to discover, pair with, and control compatible TVs on the same network.
Pairing preferences and connected TV information may be stored locally on your device to support automatic reconnection. We do not use this information to monitor your viewing activity.
1.2 Device and App Information
The App and its service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
• Device model
• Operating system and version
• App version
• Language and region settings
• Device or advertising identifiers
• Internet Protocol address
• General network information
• App interactions and feature usage
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics
This information may be used to maintain app functionality, diagnose technical problems, improve performance, prevent abuse, and understand how the App is used.
1.3 Advertising Information
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.

APP PERMISSIONS
Depending on your Android version and enabled features, the App may request permissions or access related to:

These permissions are used only to provide the relevant App functionality.
The App does not use these permissions to access your contacts, private messages, call history, microphone, camera, photos, or videos unless a separate feature clearly requires such access and you provide permission.
You may manage App permissions through your Android device settings. Disabling a required permission may prevent certain features from working correctly.
LOCAL NETWORK COMMUNICATION
The App communicates with compatible TVs through your local Wi-Fi network.
Remote-control commands may be transmitted directly between your mobile device and your TV. These commands are generally processed within your local network and are not intended to be stored on our servers.
The availability of local network features may depend on your TV model, TV settings, router configuration, and Android version.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App may use third-party services that collect and process information according to their own privacy policies.
These services may include:
• Google Play services
• Google AdMob
• Google User Messaging Platform
• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics
Third-party services may process device identifiers, advertising information, app interactions, crash data, diagnostic data, IP addresses, and approximate location information.

DATA SHARING
We may share limited information with third parties only in the following circumstances:

Locally stored TV and pairing information may remain on your device until you:
• Remove a saved TV
• Clear the App’s data
• Uninstall the App
Information processed by third-party advertising, analytics, or diagnostic providers may be retained according to their respective retention policies.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our agreements.
DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information associated with the App.
However, no electronic transmission, wireless network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Wi-Fi network, mobile device, and connected TV.
YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
• Request access to your information
• Request correction or deletion
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Submit a complaint to a data protection authority
You can also:
• Reset or delete your device’s advertising identifier
• Disable personalized advertising in your device settings
• Change or revoke App permissions
• Clear the App’s locally stored data
• Uninstall the App

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The App is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13 or the minimum legal age required in their country.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.
Advertisements shown to users identified as children will be handled according to applicable laws and advertising platform requirements.
INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, appropriate safeguards may be used to protect information transferred internationally in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
LINKS AND EXTERNAL SERVICES
The App may provide access to third-party content, services, or applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or operation of third-party services.
Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or its store listing where appropriate.
