Remingo (“the app”, “we”, “us”) values your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Data We Collect
- Account information: name, surname, email address obtained from sign-in providers (Google, Apple, etc.).
- Family & friends data: names, roles and profile photos of members you add to the app.
- Reminders & content: reminder titles, descriptions, scheduled date/time, voice notes.
- Location data: approximate or manual location when you enable location-based reminders.
- Device info: model, OS version, language/region settings (for analytics and crash reports).
- Usage logs: in-app events, sync timestamps, error logs.
2. How We Use Data
- Sync reminders, voice notes and shared family data.
- Deliver notifications and reminder alerts.
- Authenticate your account and manage sessions.
- Monitor performance and fix issues (Firebase Crashlytics).
- Analyze usage to improve the product (Firebase Analytics).
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics)
- Google Play Services & Google Sign-In
- Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
4. Device Permissions
- Camera & Media: to upload profile photos or content.
- Microphone: to record voice reminders.
- Notifications & Alarms: to deliver reminders.
- Location: optional, for location-based reminders.
No contacts or SMS data is collected. Temporary storage/cache may be used for performance.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- We keep your data in Firestore until you delete your account.
- Voice recordings are stored in Firebase Storage and permanently removed when you delete them.
- Analytics data is anonymized; aggregate reports cannot identify individuals.
- You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at [support email].
6. Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. Family sharing features require adult oversight. Contact us if you believe child data was collected inadvertently.
7. Security
Data is transmitted via HTTPS and protected with Firebase security rules. We review safeguards regularly, but no online method is 100% secure.

We may update this policy and will notify you in the app or on this page. Check the “Last updated” date above.
