When you use AI features, the content you submit may be sent to an AI provider through our backend proxy or through your own configured API provider.
We do this only to process the feature you request, such as:
Improving note text
Drafting note content
Generating reminder suggestions
Cleaning up reminder content
We do not use AI-submitted content for advertising.
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data only in the following cases:
With AI service providers when you actively use AI features
With Google, if you choose Google sign-in
When you export or share reminder files yourself
If required by law, regulation, or legal process
The app may allow you to:
Export your app data
Import previously exported data
Share reminder files with other users
Any data you choose to export or share is controlled by you. Please use caution when sharing personal, financial, or sensitive information.
RemindME uses local notifications to:
Alert you before reminder due times
Show daily summaries
Show follow-up reminder notifications
Support reminder actions such as open, snooze, or mark done
These notifications are generated for app functionality only.
Your data remains on your device unless:
You delete it manually
You reset the app
You uninstall the app
You overwrite it using import/restore features
The app includes a reset option that can remove locally stored reminders, notes, records, profile data, and related settings from your device.
RemindME is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the issue.
We take reasonable steps to protect user data through local encryption, controlled storage, and limited sharing of information only when required for app features.
However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
RemindME may rely on third-party services, including:
Google Sign-In
AI service providers
Backend hosting providers used for AI proxy services
These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.
