Ensures the app can prevent the device from going into sleep mode while an important reminder is being processed or displayed, so that critical reminders aren't missed due to the screen locking or dimming.
SET_ALARM:
Enables the app to schedule alarms for reminders, allowing the app to trigger alarms at specific times even if the app is not actively running.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM:
Required to schedule alarms that need to fire at an exact time, ensuring time-sensitive reminders (like medication or meeting alerts) are triggered at the right moment.
USE_EXACT_ALARM:
Similar to SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, this permission allows the app to trigger precise alarms, crucial for time-critical events where slight delays are unacceptable.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS:
Allows the app to post notifications to the system tray, so users are notified when a reminder is due, even if the app is not in the foreground.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS:
Lets the app request the user to disable battery optimizations, ensuring that background reminders are not delayed or missed when the device is in battery-saving mode.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED:
Ensures the app is notified when the device finishes booting, allowing it to reinitialize and reschedule any pending reminders after a reboot.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW:
Allows the app to display reminders as pop-up windows over other apps, ensuring high-priority reminders can interrupt other activities if necessary.
READ_PHONE_STATE:
Allows the app to check if the phone is in a call, so it can appropriately mute or delay non-urgent reminders when the user is busy with a call.
USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT:
Lets the app show full-screen notifications for high-importance reminders, ensuring that urgent tasks can grab the user’s full attention when needed.
These permissions help the app function optimally by managing alarms, notifications, and user interactions, ensuring that important reminders are reliably triggered without disruption.
