RECENT AND CURRENT PROJECTS
This was a total rebuild of an unattached, use-to-be outhouse turned into an attached, garbage can shed. Existing on the north side of 6A, the Old Kings Highway Commission wanted the rebuild to be "like for like."
This customer in South Yarmouth saved his original posts and lattice work from demolition. He asked for the creation of an outside patio piece and thus, Bar Mahal was born!
The same customer who asked for the outdoor shower below,
wanted a similar accent for their front door.
This outdoor shower was designed by a local artist in Barnstable.
This client in South Yarmouth wanted to match and incorporate his preexisting
scalloped fence to include an outdoor shower enclosure.
These front door railings add a touch of grandeur to this home in Dennis.
This first appeared to be a simple window sill replacement job but grew into a much larger one given the moisture and subsequent rot extended into the framing below.
This simple siding job in Dennis became more complicated in the corner, which was suffering its own degradation due to extended exposure to moisture.
In this Sagamore Beach home, the client wanted an over-the-stove microwave replaced with an exterior venting hood. They also wanted a set of cabinets moved away from the wall and
shelves built into the remaining gap.
This deck surface was replaced with a composite decking.
Some of the joists needed additional support first.
Here are smaller projects completed in Dennis:
basement stairs made easier to navigate, the addition of a floodlight, and
a deck repair (still to be painted.)
This boat barn overhaul in Dennis required new siding, trim, and windows.
Entryways from the garage don't need to be tiny or dangerous. Expanded platforms and railings make them more stable and safer.
Downspouts are a common area of gutter and fascia rot. Left unaddressed, they create entryways into the house for water and critters.
This deck rebuild expanded the outdoor living space at this client's house in South Yarmouth.
A smooth walkway in Dennis makes for a safer entryway to one's home.
It also adds to curb appeal.
Small additions to one's home can increase its utility and beauty. These projects were completed during the winter of 2022-23.

Getting ahead of rot due to moisture is important to maintaining a deck. Resurfacing this deck (and a tangential siding repair) adds many more years of use for this homeowner in Harwich.
Most roofing jobs are too large for a single person but smaller areas, like this one covering a breezeway in Dennis, can be completed in less than a day.
The resurfacing of this deck enhanced the entire back patio area and added years of use.
Paneling was recreated to match the rest of this room in Yarmouth.
These gates needed to be totally refurbished in Barnstable. Matching the existing style was important!
Sometimes it's only the posts that need to be replaced to restore an old fence.
I've installed chimney caps (standard and customed) for a number of customers.
This client in Dennis needed new gable end vents that were being destroyed by squirrels.
Award winning holiday decorations 2022
Installed an architectural trellis for an Orleans customer who wanted more variety in their backyard.
This side entryway needed to be redesigned after the masons left.
Spring is just around the corner and gardeners are anxious to start planting! Keeping rabbits out is a challenge without the right fencing and solid gates.
These gardens in Yarmouth required new gates and rabbit fencing.
Basic gates for the vegetable garden and more decorative gates for the flower gardens were installed.
Rabbit wire fencing completes the project.
Tiles were removed and matching pine boards were installed.
To be finished by the client

An unusually large step to the reading room is reconfigured to a normal 2-step.
A drafty, dysfunctional kitchen window is now wider and weatherproofed.
Here are the beginnings of a basement office with lots of windows for natural light.
