About Us

GINA BRANDOLINO is a teacher of English literature who found her way to metalwork when she turned 50 and wanted to learn to do something new, in that case welding. The metal shop she learned in at Maker Works was too close to the wood shop for the tools there not to entice her, and soon she was woodworking, too. ANGIE BERKLEY is a writing teacher and family woman who has been making stuff for as long as she can remember. She learned her crafts (sewing, printmaking) from the many creative family members, friends, and teachers she's been lucky enough to know IRL, as well as countless internet strangers!  Angie also makes zines, prints, and writes at magician press. STEVE CAIRD is a retired materials engineer and the groundskeeper at Zingerman's Mail Order.  Already a competent woodworker, he took up welding when Gina talked him into learning with her.
