Curriculum
Our younger children will be following the Soul Matters curriculum provided by the UUA. This program ties into the major themes the main services will be following each month (Belonging, Resilience, Paying Attention, etc). We use the "one room schoolhouse" format to be able to tailor to kiddos from preschool up to 6th grade.
Our classes are designed to engage kiddos with crafts, creativity and socialization. Each Sunday begins with sharing of joys and concerns and a restatement of our UU values. Stories, songs or poems are often used to introduce bigger concepts and get conversation flowing. A take home activity wraps up our time together to give kids something to share with their families after church.
